New chat!?!?!

I come on pln today to see the chat, to my surprise ITS GONE! I see a brand new flash made chat on it and the funny thing is I CANT EVEN ACCESS IT. I hope we leave this chat and go back to the old GOOD ONE WE HAD. And I wish Chris will stop making decisions by himself -_-.

The new one is messed up.

New chat is made of fail.

I see that some of you don't like the new chat but none of you have yet gone to it & used it. When you came it was still under construction it is now complete & we will keep IRC as our chat because it is professional & better than Xat.

But I don't have the latest version of Java and I can't get it because I'm low on memory space, so I doesn't work for Me!

Yeah, I do, but I can't run it.

i know it. I used it. I can acces to it. I simply prefer xat.

Dump the chat and convert to vB. It has all the messaging needs.

I agree.
Dump the java chat.
It is just to awful and i heared some people can't even access it.

I suggest 2 options:

1. Taking that chat box out and get xat again (the members seem angry)
2. Making a poll about it (best option)

........ I can now enter the chat, But I have something that will make ALL OF PLN happy.

i also cant acces it its horriblr!!!

The java chat sucks switch it back......

Well James this is partly your fault, I have been asking you to give me the password to the xat & you wouldn't once you give me the password maybe I can finish doing something that I was going to do for the site.

ok well here goes and here is my opinion... new chat is completely horrific, worst chat i have seen in a while not to mention barely anyone can see it. i come back to pln after a week from when my laptop gets fixed hopping to go to the xat chat and talk to my friends but no we get a crumby java one which hardly anyone can run. i think its a big fail and instead of moving forward to get more members infact you are going backwards and loosing them.
i can see where you would remove the chat if james didnt give the pass but ass owners yu shud make decisions together

my opinion and final verdict is....

It's funny how incompetent some are when it comes to using something new. It's also funny when you use a business professional IRC client that there are those who stick up their noses at it.
