Pokémon - "Pursuing A Lofty Goal!" ( pi pikachu! ) - Episode 118/584
Continuing their journey, Ash and friends hear of a flying Pokémon contest called the "PokéRinger Competition". Ash enters with Staravia, James ( Team Rocket ) enters with Jessie's Yanmega, and Paul enters with Honchkrow. In the finals, Ash and Paul face off in a 1 on 1 battle in the air. Attack after attack is thrown. All of a sudden, Ash's Staravia evolves into Staraptor! Staraptor defeats Paul's Honchkrow with Close Combat. ( This is Ash's first real victory over Paul ). The team moves on with the newly evolved member.
